From the train station: the access is direct and is done by tramway using the line D direction cantinole. You have to get off at the streetcar stop Barrière du Médoc and walk 500 meters.
From the airport: the easiest option is to use a cab. The trip takes about 20 minutes and costs 30 euros. You can also book our partner driver Frederic
By car: Les pénates bordelaises is located in a rather residential area of Bordeaux. We recommend parking in the Laharpe parking lot, which is 30 meters from our guesthouse and costs 3 euros per night and 8 euros per day.
Check-in, check-out and breakfasts
We welcome guests from Monday to Sunday. The arrival is done in all autonomy by access codes. These codes are sent to you the day before by email around 2pm. You can arrive at the time you wish. Your hosts Sylvain and Maria Luisa live on site and can help you in case of difficulties.
The check-in time is from 2pm, but you can arrive earlier and stay in our breakfast room or enjoy our pool.
The check-out time is 11am at the latest. Please vacate your room before 11am so that we can clean it. However, you can continue to stay in our breakfast lounge or by the pool until late afternoon if you wish. You can also leave your luggage in our lounge if needed.
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am. We work with local bakers and it is not possible to serve it earlier.
The pool is open from mid-May to mid-October from 9am to 7pm.
To fully enjoy the pénates Bordeaux experience, we recommend a minimum 3-day stay. We apply discounts of 10% on stays of 2 nights and 15% on stays of more than 3 nights.
Getting around from pénates
We do not recommend using a car to get to the center of Bordeaux. We recommend
The Bus: several stops are less than 3 minutes away on foot.
The Tram: the streetcar stop Barrière du Médoc is 6 minutes away on foot and direct to the train station.
