The guest house "Les pénates bordelaises" offers 5 elegantly decorated suites with a landscaped garden and heated swimming pool. Our establishment is located next to the Parc Bordelais, easily accessible by car and transport and close to the city center.
Our 5 pénates
The 5 suites are about 30 m2 with a private bathroom and toilet, air conditioning. The access to the rooms can be done in all autonomy by access codes.
Bordeaux, the pearl of Aquitaine, is a popular destination for its historical heritage, gastronomy and renowned wines. Next to the Parc Bordelais, we welcome travelers to our bed and breakfast with swimming pool.
How do you define the pénates bordelaises B&B?
It's a small hotel with 5 rooms and services such as breakfast, 5* bedding and air conditioning, but it's also a place to live around the pool, with a certain intimacy due to the limited number of guests. It's also an opportunity to chat with owners Sylvain and Maria Luisa about the city of Bordeaux, art and music. To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend staying for at least 2 days.
Is there a parking lot in the B&B?
We don't have a parking lot on the premises, but you can park your car 30 meters away in the Laharpe open-air parking lot: 8€ a day and 3€ a night. The B&B is also served by tramway line D, which stops at barrière du médoc and takes you to the city center in 10 minutes and the train station in 20 minutes.

A few words about the wordpénates. It has its origins in Roman mythology and religion. The Pénates were deities who protected the home and the family. Today, the word "pénates" is used to designate a person's home, house or place of residence, particularly in a literary or poetic context. It's this spirit that we wanted to give to our B&B in Bordeaux, to make our guests feel at home.
