On foot
Begin with a walk beneath the trees of Parc Bordelais, then follow our food tour to meet the artisans, food shops and restaurants around Barrière du Médoc. It is a first day at neighbourhood level, at the pace of those who live here.
By tram
Take the tram into the centre to explore the quays, Place de la Bourse and the streets of the historic heart. Continue with two landmarks: Bassins des Lumières for its immersive experience and Cité du Vin to explore the world’s wine cultures.
A day trip
Choose the iconic village of Saint-Émilion, Margaux and the Médoc’s great growths, Pessac-Léognan and the classified Graves estates, or Sauternes and its unique sweet wines. We help you shape the route that best matches your interests.
An escape
Around the Dune du Pilat, the bay reveals its villages and oyster cabins. Choose between two distinct sides: Arcachon, more urban and elegant, or Cap-Ferret, wilder and more secluded, with pine forest, ocean and oyster tasting.
Coming home
As the light fades over Bordeaux, it is a pleasure to return to the neighbourhood’s gentle pace. In warmer months, a swim in the pool, a few pages on a sun lounger or a moment beneath the garden trees is enough to slow everything down. The day ends softly, the house becomes a retreat again, ready for tomorrow.
